Children

The Southwark Safeguarding Children Partnership agrees local child protection procedures. Everyone who works with children must know and follow national guidance and their own organisation's child protection policy and procedures. In Southwark we follow the London Safeguarding Children Procedures, which give more detailed advice about how local services should work to protect children. We work closely with the London Safeguarding Children Partnership and endeavour to align all of our policies and procedures to theirs

Southwark Safeguarding Children Partnership is signed up to the London Multi-Agency Safeguarding Data Sharing Agreement. It is an agreement between equal partners and each organisation has a responsibilty to ensure it is correct and reflects their situation. The Multi-Agency Data Sharing Agreement is endorsed by the Information Governance for London group (IGfL) and the London Child Safeguarding Partnership. You can read the agreement here
