Southwark council and its partners are committed to tackling and preventing the sexual exploitation of children and young people. Download Southwark's CSE strategy here.
We now have an inbox which is monitored during working hours – firstname.lastname@example.org. This is for any soft intelligence / information which professionals or members of the public may have about child sexual and criminal exploitation, for example concerns about a particular location or business. There is an automatic response giving advice about more immediate concerns, but all information will be received and acted on as appropriate.
Southwark council has launched a campaign to raise awareness of child sexual exploitation (CSE) amongst young people aged 14 to 16. The aim of the campaign is to increase understanding of what CSE is, how to recognise the signs and how to get help if a young person believes they or their friends are being sexually exploited.
A series of posters and a leaflet have been designed which you can download from the left hand panel and help us to raise awareness of CSE, by simply printing them out and displaying them in a prominent position around your premises.
